My name is Jade Roberson (they/she) and I am the Rainbow Love Doula. I offer full spectrum doula services providing non-judgmental and confidential custom support to individuals and families as they navigate their reproductive health options. My main priority is to center the client’s preferences as well as be a reliable source of support and guidance. I am also available to work with people who may need gender-affirming support and care.

For me, being a doula is my calling and something I was doing before I knew there was a word for it. As a teenager, I began supporting pregnant people and parents in various ways. Some of my earliest experiences include: working in childcare, being a support person to friends facing teen pregnancy and being a confidant/someone to lean on for people grieving due to pregnancy related loss. When COVID-19 challenged the world to reimagine everyday life, I decided to embrace my calling and I successfully completed formal doula training for certification.

It was important that my doula training centered this work through a Reproductive Justice lens with an emphasis on centering bodily autonomy via informed consent. Bodily autonomy is about the right to make decisions over one’s own life and future. As your doula, I will make sure you have the necessary tools and information so that you will feel prepared to advocate your reproductive choices to your medical providers.

I serve individuals and families of all backgrounds regardless of gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, and marital status. I proudly offer my safe and confidential support services to alternative or non-traditional pregnant people, and families.
